Each organic bird nesting kit contains 50g of alpaca fibre. All fibre is sourced from our herd at Ballymac Alpaca. All alpacas are sheared annually and fibre used to make these unique bird friendly gifts.

Simply hang this outside and nesting birds will find this material to build their nests.

Alpaca fibre is the softest natural fibre in the world. It is perfect bedding material not only for birds but also mice, hamsters, rats, ferrets, guinea pigs and gerbils etc.

These hypoallergenic nesters are filled with warm and water repellent alpaca fibre.

Alpacas come in 22 officially recognised colours therefore colours may vary.
Note that our lovely alpacas are sheared every June, fleeces skirted (cleaned) and vacuum packed for six months before being created into these bird gifts. Alpacas are playful animals that love to roll around the field and scratch themselves against bushes. Even after the second skirting (cleaning) some natural debris may remain, this is completely harmless and natural.
